Once again there’s a Treasure Hunt in this month’s edition of Prim Perfect – but this month it is slightly different. There are sixteen stores taking part this month – and instead of finding a token, this month you have to visit the store to discover the prim count of each of the pieces featured in the magazine.
Today’s clue is an unusual one for me to choose, as it comes in the form of an emitter – i.e. one of those devices that “emits” something which floats off in a cloud into the air (often something like red hearts, or words/phrases like “Happy Birthday” or – on one notorious occasion at least, and doubtless on many other less well-known occasions – that portion of the male anatomy that is worshipped in certain cultures).
Often these emitters are great for a single occasion, but downright annoying when over-used – which is often. But here, from Treesong Designs, is one that I loved. It takes the form of a humming bird feeder and, as there is rather a paucity of humming birds to atttract in SL, periodically it creates its own.
You can choose which type of humming birds you want to visit your bird feeder, and also how frequently you want them to … er … visit. All in all, it’s a lovely little thing to hang outside a window or your house to create an atmosphere.
Treesong Designs have many other excellent designs too – fountains (including sculptie fountains) and wind chimes too. Certainly worth a look – and worth some purchases too!
I’ve found the piece – now how do I find the prim count?

You can find out the prim count by right clicking on an item. Then select edit. Make sure that the edit window is fully open (by clicking in the bottom righthand corner if the simple edit menu is showing – as in the first diagram). When the edit menu is fully open and the General tab is showing, then you can read the prim count – as shown in the second diagram.
To win a prize, find as many prim counts as you can, and send the details to primperfect@gmail.com, including your avatar name and an answer to the tiebreak question – you have to complete the following sentence in 15 words or less:
“Prim Perfect is … “
The person to find the most prim counts will win – and in the event of a tie, we will use the tie-breaker.
Also: – you don’t necessarily have to find every prim count to win a prize! Just find as many as you can – by July 20th.
