Prim Perfect is not just a magazine. The organization also produces a number of shows such as Designing Worlds, The Blackened Mirror, Happy Hunting! , web comic The Quest for the Golden Prim, and more are on the horizon. There are also special projects and events throughout the year.
We are always looking for enthusiastic people to join our team (and not just because we’re becoming dangerously sleep-deprived). Specific opportunities for you to participate in the exciting (albeit occasionally insane) world of virtual media will be added to this page as often as we get a chance to post them. You don’t need to wait for one however; just fill out the form with your interests and we’ll find a way to get you involved.
The first two roles we want you to consider are:
Staff Writer for Designing Worlds – we’ll show you a sample script and the shows we’ve scheduled. Choose one to start and get writing!
Camera Person – have you ever imagined yourself behind the camera filming a television show? This is your opportunity!
If you would like to learn how to become proficient in online camera skills, you can sign up for the Prim Perfect Accredited Camera Person Course. Taking the course involves a short series of classes, training sessions and exercises, followed by a period of internship on a TV show. When you have completed the course, you will receive Accreditation – and will have the skills to work on TV shows in virtual worlds, participate in live broadcasts and make your own machinimas. Camera people and editors are hugely in demand – by professional clients as well as inworld organisations.
The pay scale for these jobs is the same for everybody involved in the productions – a chance to have fun, learn new skills, work with a great team and cookies. We have the best cookies!
Advertising Team – We are also looking for people willing to work with our ad sales team to sell ads across the magazine and TV shows. We have an an excellent package to offer advertisers – and if you sell an ad for us, we pay 25% commission!
