Designing Worlds pays tribute to LaPiscean Liberty – now on the web

In this episode, Designing Worlds had a very special show – a tribute to LaPiscean Liberty, one of the leading proponents of machinima and the Arts in Second Life.

Lap – as he was known – was a much-loved and important figure in the SL Arts and Machinima worlds. He ran the TV channels, Aview and SL Artists, and was one of the first people to work on ways to bring machinima showings into Second Life. He also ran Festivals such as the 48 Hour Film Festival.

On the show, we have an extract from an old Designing Worlds show of Lap talking about his work, and we were also joined by people who worked with Lap and knew him well, including Chantal Harvey, Mal Burns, Lorin Tone, Rhiannon Chatnoir, Bevan Whitfield, Petlove Petshop, Secret Rage, JayJay Zifanwe, and Pooky Amsterdam.
