Prim Perfect and Designing Worlds are proud to support the Spoonful of Sugar Festival, which raises funds for and awareness of the work of Doctors Without Borders / MSF-USA.
The Festival has been held twice yearly for the last three years in Second Life but is now moving to an annual Festival in the Fall and a year round presence with a region of its own. More details on this and a link will follow.

Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) is an international, independent, medical humanitarian organization that delivers emergency aid to people affected by armed conflict, epidemics, natural disasters and exclusion from healthcare. MSF offers assistance to people based on need, irrespective of race, religion, gender or political affiliation.

The Spoonful of Sugar Festival team say:
It is our continued pleasure to bring you a festival full of the finest Second Life has to offer in shopping, entertainment and education about this globally effective charity. We have a lot of fun here at the SOS and we encourage you to join in. Become a sponsor (hit the JOIN US tab at the top to learn more). Shop us. Talk about us. Educate yourself and your friends and family to this beautiful cause. Become part of what many are calling the sweetest fund raiser in all of Second Life.
We believe in what they are doing so we decided that Second Life, a community without borders, was a perfect place to find them some support. So far, with your help the SOS Festivals have raised over 20,000 US! That’s a lot of sugar! And we all know sugar makes the medicine go AROUND the world!
Our mission is based on the belief that when we help others, we, in turn, help ourselves by fulfilling our sense of collective humanity and growing our compassion. That balancing things like that into our lives in healthy measures, can give us energy and renewed enthusiasm for life. And evidently it’s working because we aren’t tired yet and we certainly aren’t stopping.
