In this episode we are celebrating Halloween in Second Life in 2026 – and the episode is going live at 2pm Saturday 31st Octber (what better day, eh?) But this is just the first part of our news.
Because … Designing Worlds, the online television show that explores design and designers in Second Life, is returning from a two year hiatus!
We will be broadcasting two shows before the end of the year – this Halloween special, and a Christmas seasonal show on December 22nd. Then, in the New Year, we plan to move to a bi-weekly show on Tuesdays at 2pm.
We have a new format too, with a tighter timeframe (around 30 minutes) and segments created by different teams in the Halloween show we have three such segments – two visits to Halloween regions (by Fakey Jewell and Chantal Harvey, and by Cinders Vale and Petlove Petshop), and a slide show of Halloween places from our long-standing and brilliant photographer, Wildstar Beaumont. Lorin Tone has created the majority of the music – and played a great deal of it himself!
