Once again there’s a Treasure Hunt in this month’s edition of Prim Perfect. There are thirteen stores taking part this month – and this month you have to visit the store to discover the prim count of each of the pieces featured in the magazine. You’ll find instructions on how to find the prim count for an item on our Treasure Hunt Information page.
Today’s clue is from Dellybean North’s store in Goun, True North Design. Not Delly’s lovely work with glass this time, but one of her fun pieces for hot summer days – a deckchair and a matching parasol – just the thing to set up next to your beachfront, your pool or even a handy fountain – and Delly has some lovely fountains in her store too!
I’ve been seeing quite a lot of Delly in Tuscany lately, for she is one of the designers working on the Tuscan Castle which will be auctioned for charity.
This lovely building is a copy of a real Tuscan castle, based on the Castello di Brolio which is located in a quiet part of the Chianti wine-growing area, south of Arezzo and northwest of Lake Trasimeno.
At the moment, Delly is hard at work decorating and reconfiguring the interior of the castle (which was basically a three story box!) and you can see her work here in the exterior and in the interior of the castle. Other designers are playing their part too, and over the coming days, we’ll be looking at all their contributions, aimed at making the Second Life Castel di Brolio a showplace as well as a home!
Then the castle will be auctioned (the new planned date is Saturday, 8th September) to raise money for a variety of small charities.
It is intended that this will include the Marburg Toy Run in Germany – where motorcyclists gather to have a fun run to raise money for a local children’s charity. In addition to raising overall funds, each motorcycle entered donates a toy or an item of sports equipment. You can read more about this at http://www.toyrunmarburg.de/
Even if you don’t want to take part in the auction, you can still win great prizes in the Treasure Hunt! What you have to do is to find as many prim counts as you can, and send the details to primperfect@gmail.com, including your avatar name and an answer to the tiebreak question (which you’ll find in the magazine on Page 28). The person to find the most prim counts will win – and in the event of a tie, we will use the tie-breaker.
Also: – you don’t necessarily have to find every prim count to win a prize! Just find as many as you can – by August 31st.
