When I first heard about second life, and the fact that people built homes and residences within it,I wondered “why”? I could see why people would build places to gather, and places to share, and places to do things. Why would you build a virtual home? Why would you be happy to win a contest to have one for a month?
As I learned more, and thought about it, I realized its the same reason that people have a weblog, or a myspace page, or an old fashioned website. Even if they don’t spend all of their time on their own page and their links, having one is an expression of creativity. Its their stamp upon the internet, for all to see.
So it is in Second Life. I’ve had a couple of visitors to my Castle-for-a-month. Not many, mainly because I don’t have many SL acquaintances. And yet even given all that, I am proud to have one. Its an anchor point, a place where my presence in SL is constant, for all to see. Like the offices of Prim Perfect, its a signpost to what I am.
And there is the genius and why Prim Perfect is good for you. If you want a virtual home on this new frontier, you want it decorated and presented right. The decorative side of Prim Perfect, as we bring you news of designers of things for your home and garden, is here to help make that happen.
So while you might go parachuting every day, having a well designed and decorated home in SL is something to be relied upon. And with a plethora of choices, a filter for those choices, to find beautiful things of value, is needed. Prim Perfect is here to help and I am proud to share in that mission.
