I started my Halloween celebrations early, by attending a wonderful party on Saturday night, given by two old friends from Venice, Francesca Cassini and Pdvd Drumbeat. They had decorated their home amazingly with all sorts of Halloween goodies. There were monsters that reared up at you, ghosts that drifted around, ghouls that hovered over your head … and two spectacular churchyards.
I loved the trees hung with orange lanterns, but I think my absolute favourite was the gravestone that, as you walked towards it, rezzed to display a very creepy name with the date of death being given as today’s.
And the creepy name?
It was my own.
