Once again there’s a Treasure Hunt in this month’s edition of Prim Perfect. There are SIXTEEN stores taking part this month – and you have to visit the store to discover the prim count of each of the pieces featured in the magazine. You’ll find instructions on how to find the prim count for an item on our Treasure Hunt Information page.
Today’s clue comes from Sofia Standish’s store on Serafina, Sofia’s Furniture. The furniture I’ve usually shown from Sofia has tended to be classic but essentially timeless, and even modern in style. But it’s worth remembering that she also has a lovely range of medieval pieces here, like this wonderfully witchy bed – and her rough hewn fireplaces are also good for any good solid craftsman wanting a home that is rather above the peasant’s cottage.
And they can also grace more majestic medieval homes too. Quintus Qabalah (of Castles by Q) uses many of her pieces as models in his wide range of castles on Qabalah Island.
But Sofia is versatile. Her own island has a complete Greek village, with houses for rent, and I’ve also enjoyed drinking (and dancing) in jazz bars she’s built – as well as popping to her classic French cafe for croissants and coffee first thing in a morning.
Of course, as you can tell from this article, I love her vases – which come in a variety of shapes and especially of textures. And, at only two prims each, they can add a beautiful focal point to a room without costing (in prim terms) the earth.
But today, in the Treasure Hunt, your task is to find the lovely Gothic bed with its pentangle headboard.
For the treasure hunt competition, what you have to do is to find as many prim counts as you can, and send the details to primperfect@gmail.com, including your avatar name and an answer to the tiebreak question (which you’ll find in the magazine on Page 26). The person to find the most prim counts will win – and in the event of a tie, we will use the tie-breaker.Also: – you don’t necessarily have to find every prim count to win a prize! Just find as many as you can – by December 6th.
