Once again there’s a Treasure Hunt in this month’s edition of Prim Perfect. There are SIXTEEN stores taking part this month – and you have to visit the store to discover the prim count of each of the pieces featured in the magazine. You’ll find instructions on how to find the prim count for an item on our Treasure Hunt Information page.
Today’s clue is from Sweetbay Designs, the store owned by followmeimthe PiedPiper (known as Pip to her friends) on the Sweetbay sim where you’ll find not only her furniture but also her building using Cotswold stone and her re-creations of famous small-scale bridges. You can also read an article about one of her houses in the September issue of Prim Perfect.
As with last month, this month’s clue is a clock Pip has made, but this month it’s a bracket clock, with a lovely wooden case with some beautiful inlay work. I love the curve of theglass on the facepiece and the sheen Pip has got on it.
I’m going to be very busy this coming month, but I am hoping to make time to go and see Sweetbay Designs. The copy of Wilton Bridge Pip had in place looked gorgeous in summer, surrounded by her friend Kvinta Lingiuan’s floral display. I wonder what it will look like if there is snow? Cotswold stone always looks fabulous in the snow once the sun is out – it just glows golden!
For the treasure hunt competition, what you have to do is to find as many prim counts as you can, and send the details to primperfect@gmail.com, including your avatar name and an answer to the tiebreak question (which you’ll find in the magazine on Page 26). The person to find the most prim counts will win – and in the event of a tie, we will use the tie-breaker.Also: – you don’t necessarily have to find every prim count to win a prize! Just find as many as you can – by December 6th.
