Silent Auction for the New Year

The Many Midnights Masquerade got off to a splendid start at the Gaiety Theatre – Caledon Penzance earlier today, when a crowd of enthusiastic revellers celebrated Christmas in the Antipodes, cheering Christmas in Sydney and Melbourne – then half an hour later in Adelaide, and finally another half hour later in Brisbaine.

More events are still to come – as you will see here with the full programme.

But throughout the day, a Silent Auction is being held in a specially created Crystal Palace next to the Gaiety Theatre and, believe me, the items available for auction here are absolutely fantastic!

They include:

• one full room of furniture (bidders choice) from Antiques By Ellison – Fine Victorian Furniture,

• a Nautilus SubMarine and Airship / SkyBox Balloons from The Cannon Company and
• a complete cottage with L$1,000 worth of furniture from Sofia’s Furniture
• and several more items too (submitted too late for the catalogue!)

In addition, a number of large items are available in the special auctions to be held in the main Theatre at 2pm and 10pm SLT before the UK midnight celebration, and the SLT New Year!

And there are gift bags full of super goodies for guests who attend – located in the main lobby by the donations jar (hint, hint!). Remember, all funds will be going to Gardens of Hope – a very good cause!

The auction has been organised by Rascal Blanco in a staggeringly short space of time, and the lovely crystal place and all its accoutrements designed and arranged by him and Zasa Rossini, his talented partner in that lovely store La Belle Vie. So all kudos for them for their hard work, which has produced such a lovely result!
