Since the launch of Prim Perfect in May 2007, our following has grown and grown – with regular readers of the blog and the magazine. We’ve had coverage in real life media on both sides of the Atlantic – with excellent coverage in the New York Times (free registration needed) and the Daily Telegraph.
In addition to this, Saffia Widdershins, the editor of Prim Perfect was invited by Channel 4 in the UK to take part in a reality TV programme – having been chosen as a hot young female media executive. Saffia’s real life counterpart had to break the news that Saffia … is pixels.
But that’s not the limit of our media ambitions, for this weekend will see the filming of the pilot of a brand new series for SLCN – Meta Makeover. The whole Prim Perfect team have been working hard on this, and you’ll have a chance to see and share in the work we’ve done after the weekend – or, perhaps, earlier.
The filming of the pilot of Meta Makeover will be carried out before a live audience at the SLCN studios in Northpoint on Sunday 20th January at 12pm (i.e.noon) SL time. If you would like to be part of that audience, all you have to do is tp into Northpoint between half eleven and twelve and take a seat in the studio – which will be signposted.
Your presenter in the studio will be Kymbah Spicer of La!Ti~Da! Furniture, and Saffia Widdershhins will be at the makeover house to interview the designers. We, of course, have had a sneak preview of the house, and we know that all our readers will be very excited to see what has been done!
