New Year Treasure Hunt – Clue 8: Relic

Christmas Trees from Baron GraysonOnce again there’s a Treasure Hunt in this month’s edition of Prim Perfect. There are THIRTEEN stores taking part this month – and you have to visit the store to discover the prim count of each of the pieces featured in the magazine. You’ll find instructions on how to find the prim count for an item on our Treasure Hunt Information page.

Today’s clue comes from Baron Grayson’s store, Relic . Once again, it’s actually a Christmas clue – the gorgeous changing light Christmas trees he created.

And, as I said earlier, if you go to the Baron’s store and the trees are no longer available (although they were when I was over there hust the other day), you can substitute another of his trees instead. After all, I don’t want to make the already potentially difficult task of finding the clue (Baron, famously, loves to make his store a voyage of exploration and mystery for his customers) into a wholly impossible task!

Baron Grayson's landscape centre

But do take a little while to explore the Relic landscaping centre (not really a garden centre) .  Baron Grayson was producing the most amazing twisted oaks when the notion of sculpties was but a glint in a Linden’s eye – and he’s seized on every new development in the technology to push his ideas further and expand his experimentation.  The result is some of the most lush and gorgeous textures in Second Life.  The autumn foliage in particular is breathtaking but there’s a wide range of plants on the misty plain.

For the moment, however, our focus is on the Treasure Hunt!

For the treasure hunt competition, what you have to do is to find as many prim counts as you can, and send the details to primperfect@gmail.com, including your avatar name and an answer to the tiebreak question (which you’ll find in the magazine on Page 90). The person to find the most prim counts will win – and in the event of a tie, we will use the tie-breaker. Also: – you don’t necessarily have to find every prim count to win a prize! Just find as many as you can – by January 25th.
