February Treasure Hunt – Clue 1: Submariner Fabrications

Bouncy Castle from Submariner FabricationsOnce again there’s a Treasure Hunt in this month’s edition of Prim Perfect. There are TWELVE stores taking part this month – and you have to visit the store to discover the prim count of each of the pieces featured in the magazine. You’ll find instructions on how to find the prim count for an item on our Treasure Hunt Information page.

Today’s clue brings a new store to our pages … Submariner Fabrications. And I must admit, I really do think this one is a complete winner! The owner of the store, Csteph Submariner, sent me the bouncy castle itself, rather than just a pic of it, so I rezzed it in my photo studio. It looked great, with strong, primary colours – and then I tried it out.

And really, I found myself laughing harder than I have done for a long time. If you try to walk across it, you find yourself bouncing in the air, and if you try and actually jump up and down … well, the sky is your limit!

I adored it … but it presented a problem when it came to photographing. It needed models so that you, dear readers, could understand the scale of the thing. And I couldn’t bounce and photograph at the same time. So I hastily checked my contacts list and found that Zasa Rosinni of La Belle Vie and Sofia Standish of Sofia’s Furniture were on too. So I im’d them, warned them to wear their oldest clothes, and brought them across. Which resulted in a hilarious series of pictures – one of which you can see here!

Sofia and Luke bouncing

Both Zasa and Sofia promptly demanded landmarks to Submariner Fabrications so that they could go and buy bouncy castles for themselves. Sofia even sent me a photo of her friend Luke and her enjoying the castle, complete with added frangipani from a poofer.

And once at Submariner Fabrications, Zasa and Sofia – like you – would have found a wealth of other fairground equipment guaranteed to make any party great fun. Csteph is creating some fun products, with some really exciting scripts to back them up – the store is well worth checking out! Especially (she adds) if you have a weakness for candy floss (known as cotton candy in the States, I believe).

But while you’re enjoying the fun of the fair and testing out the bouncy castle, don’t forget the treasure hunt!

For the treasure hunt competition, what you have to do is to find as many prim counts as you can, and send the details to primperfect@gmail.com, including your avatar name and an answer to the tiebreak question (which you’ll find in the magazine on Page 90). The person to find the most prim counts will win – and in the event of a tie, we will use the tie-breaker. Also: – you don’t necessarily have to find every prim count to win a prize! Just find as many as you can – by March 5th.

Another clue will be appearing shortly!
