To the dismay of many of us who appreciate architectural excellence, CJ Carnot’s beautiful railway station that was briefly the home of Tete a Pied (now Fleur) is no more. Though the structure didn’t serve the retail business as well as hoped, the remarkable train that chuffed alongside the stations should be back before long.
CJ is an excellent designer and builder who has a masterful touch with textures. We hold out hope that we might some day be able to purchase some of his creations at retail, but in the meantime, here’s some eye candy in the form of the rhythmic ceiling fan at the current Fleur location.
