Once again there’s a Treasure Hunt in the current edition of Prim Perfect. There are FOURTEEN stores taking part this month – and you have to visit the store to discover the prim count of each of the pieces featured in the magazine. You’ll find instructions on how to find the prim count for an item on our Treasure Hunt Information page.
The first store is new to the Treasure Hunt – Elements in Design, owned by Gwen Carillon and found within the sim of the same name. The natural elements feature prominently throughout the store. The front facade and steps between floors seem to be made of crystalline glass or ice. There are no external walls, giving the store an airy feel. The earthy color of natural wood, the warmth of fire, and the cooling of water exist in the store’s design as well as its offerings. A small table with tea, espresso, cookies, and muffins welcome you at the entrance to the store. You may enjoy these as you go searching for the featured item.
The vanity in the Ahava bedroom suite is the item for this month’s Treasure Hunt. The two-toned wood with its curved design remind me fondly of pieces from my grandmother’s house.
I sat down for a moment and the poses that come with this piece had me dreamily admiring my reflection in the mirror. The center drawer of the vanity can be pulled out all the way, half way, or closed with a touch. What is inside? Lipstick? Love letters? You’ll have to discover for yourself after writing down the prim count for the piece.
This store has items for many different styles of homes. I saw furniture for Asian themed rooms as well as pieces appropriate for a log cabin. Some furniture was solid enough to belong in the castle of Winterfell while the Lotus and Fairy chairs are as ethereal as a fairy’s dream. Take some time and see what catches your interest at Elements in Design, but don’t forget there’s much more treasure hunting to come.
For the treasure hunt competition, find as many prim counts as you can for the magazine’s treasure hunt items, and send the details to primperfect@gmail.com, including your avatar name and an answer to the tiebreaker question (which you’ll find in the magazine on Page 72). The person to find the most prim counts will win – and in the event of a tie, we will use the tie-breaker. Also: – you don’t necessarily have to find every prim count to win a prize! Just find as many as you can. You have until April 20th, 2008, to send in your entry.
Another clue will be appearing shortly!
Really interesting article. Thank you for moving along the time with a great read.
