It must be that time of year, but I know of at least three major designers who are planning big sim relocations and the opening of exciting new stores (following on from the lovely new The Loft sim, which I wrote about earlier in the year).
First off the mark in this round is PRrim Designs, owned by Prad Prathivi and Rrishanna Regina, who have moved to a large new store in Southsea, and very much in keeping with their cool modern style. They opened last week with a wonderfully extravagent party – and some great new pieces to look at too!
This is what they say about the new store:
In the past 18 months, PRrim Designs has grown rapidly and worked tirelessly to improve and enhance the Second Life experience by developing and innovating new furniture and builds in Second Life, and pushing the boundaries of what can be achieved in the metaverse.
Developing and forging a close relationship with Lookr Fashions (Adam Soler), PRim Designs have a new innovation: the two companies have been working together to accomplish what is being called their most ambitious projects yet: Southsea.
After 4 months of meticulous planning and a design which has outdone anything designed by PRrim Designs in the past, the sim boasts high-quality textured and multiposed modern, contemporary furniture, and detailed and haute couture fashions ranging from casual wear to formal.
At PRrim and Lookr, we believe in the very best, and nothing less, and we’ve worked tirelessly over the last months to make sure that products we present are of the finest quality. Acclaimed by Fashion bloggers and Building magazines alike, those who have seen a sneak preview of the sim have been amazed by the level of detail that has gone into all aspects of the store.
I’d definitely agree with that last – so make sure you check it out!
