9-11 Memorial, Seven Years On

Seven years on, we here at Prim Perfect remember.

From the New York sim:
On the morning of 9/11 5am slt we are gathering on New York.  We will begin the ceremony at 5:15am.

That morning we will be reading the names of all the victims of  that day.

After the last name is read we will be observing a long moment of silence.

At 9am SLT we will dedicate the new FDNY Memorial Wall that now has a permanent home.

On this day, we remember the dead of 9/11.

And we remember those too killed in London, in Madrid, in Bali, in Algeria, in Turkey, in Jordan, in India and Pakistan.

We remember those caught up in conflicts in Afghanistan, in Iraq, in Israel and Palestine.

We remember those who have died at the hands of terrorists across the world. We remember those who lost their lives trying to promote peace. And we remember those lives lost when people were simply going about their everyday lives when they became the victims of someone’s delusional desire to make an effect.

On this day when, seven years ago, the world stood still in shock and horror, we remember those we have lost.
