Issue 12 of Prim Perfect is now out – and it’s an exciting one!

This  month, our Sim is one of the most exciting cities in the world – London!  We’ll be exploring the London sims, a series of really upmarket locations with a host of attractions and really beautiful realistic texturing.  Jvstin Tomorrow is pinpointing some of the things that you really must see and talking to residents too.  In addition, there’s an interview with Debs Regent who is building some unique crossovers with real life and Second Life world businesses.  And you can learn about the Media in London with Janey Bracken who produces the special blog – Virtually London Lite!

Plus there’s a gorgeous apartment in Chelsea waiting for one lucky Star Prize competition winner, with magnificent styling from CORN Furniture and CORN’s new store, Instinct.

You possibly couldn’t have a more different set of sims than our Landscape of the Month.  Kghia Gherardi explores the South Carolina Lowcountry themed sims of Wando, Cooper River and Hampton Island, an alternative vision of the historical Lowcountry with no slavery, no civil war, no fever.  There are mermaids though – and a gorgeous underwater palace.  And there is an article from Alesia Markstein on the real South Carolinan Lowcountry.

This month, our Resident Home of the Month is Evocative, a lovely new home created by two designers behind Lapointe & Bastchild Designs.  Find out what M0lly Dench discovered in her explorations.

And throughout the magazine you’ll find the work not only of our regular chief photographer but also of three of the talented winners of the Prim Perfect/Orange Island Fashion Photocontest.  A special article tells you all about the contest – and the winners – and we talk to the prizewinners too!  And you’ll have chance to enjoy the glorious pictures too.

We also have a special photo contest this month too – as people start to prepare for Halloween.  Who has the spookiest sim?  That’s what we want to find out!  And there’s our regular Treasure Hunt too – while you can learn about the lucky winner of last month’s star prize.

Prim Perfect Treasure Hunt: September 2008

But, if you like to download your magazines to read as you commute to work, or in the bath, or wherever, you can also obtain a standard pdf for downloading and printing.

It is also available through SLExchange or OnRez (just search on either site for Prim Perfect). This will deliver you a copy in the form of a Thinc book that you can rez and read inworld.

Another inworld option is to buy from our inworld vendors (located at various stores). Sometimes we have had problems with these, but you can help! If you see a vendor still selling an earlier issue, contact primperfect@gmail.com, and we’ll send someone to update it.

We also have subscribe-o-matic kiosks throughout Second Life (these are taking over from our older vendors) – so you can just click to subscribe.  You’ll be sent a copy of the latest issue, and then you’ll receive your issues regularly!

Or you can have it delivered to you each month as a Thinc Book, by joining the Prim Perfect Readers group inworld. It costs nothing to join and, apart from delivering the magazine each month, we won’t overload you with chat or messages!

In addition to delivering the Thinc Book version of the magazine, you’ll also get a link to the online Calaméo version of the magazine, so you’ll be able to access that too.
