Welcome to the Treasure Hunt for the September issue of Prim Perfect magazine. Over the next few weeks, I will be taking you on adventures across the grid, searching for FOURTEEN items offered by some incredibly talented designers and store owners. To complete the Treasure Hunt challenge, you need to visit each store that I profile, find the featured item, and discover its prim count. Instructions on how to find the prim count of an item can be found either on page 92 of the magazine or on our Treasure Hunt Information Page. For participating, you may win something wonderful by one of these designers from the Prim Perfect prize cabinet.
Next we travel to a fairly new store, Artis Natur. The owners, Damen Gorilla & sachi Vixen, have been designing clothing and skins for a long time for their store Adam n Eve, but now they have expanded into another sim with beautiful fantasy landscaping. Wander along the path enjoying the sites, and you’ll gradually come to the sales area with the signs giving information about each item. For the treasure hunt, you need to locate this Sitting Giant Tree in its gorgeous fall colors. It is a huge tree, but you’ll find that its prim count is fairly low. Each tree at Artis Natur comes with menu controls so that you can set the season for the tree. Right now many of the trees are set to autumn, with their colored leaves falling to the ground. This tree in particular comes with a pose, so you can sit high in the branches and enjoy the view.
Continue glancing down the path, and you’ll see the other items they have to offer. There are several types of trees as well as groups of rocks, available with a heavy blanket of moss. There is a lucky chair there with the cutest prize. If your letter comes up, consider me jealous. As I waited a little while, I found myself distracted by the flowing water. The River package has the most ripples in the water. Fantasy brook is fairly smooth with mysterious white wisps in the water. Lagoon has glassy turquoise waters flowing smoothly down the hillside. Each package comes with sculpted rocks, one rock with ambient water sound, and several sections of sculpted water. It was peaceful to watch here, and most likely more beautiful on your own land.
To participate in the treasure hunt challenge, we ask you to find as many prim counts as you can for each of the magazine’s treasure hunt items. Email the counts to primperfect@gmail.com along with your avatar name and the answer to the tiebreaker question which can be found on page 92 of the magazine. The winner will be the person who is closest to an accurate prim count, and in the event of a tie, the tiebreaker question will be used. Your answers are due by October 6, 2008. Please remember – you don’t necessarily have to find every prim count to win a prize! Have fun and keep watching these clues.
