The other day we told you how you could win the wonderful prize of a Rustica house, fully furnished, in the Prim Perfect Star Competition from our October magazine.
And, of course, our intrepid reporter, Qwis Greenwood, has been busy supplying clues that will help you win our Treasure Hunt.
But there is another fabulous prize on offer this month too, before our closing date of 6th December 2008.
The Christmas Photo Contest asks: What are you doing for Christmas? Are you having a party or decorating your sim? Perhaps you’re setting up a special Christmas store or winter activities …
Whatever you are plotting and planning, send us a picture of it. The winning photograph will appear in our Christmas edition of Prim Perfect, and the winner – whether sim, store or photographer – will receive a free one-page advertisement in the issue!
So show us your winter goodies … and win a Christmas prize to remember!
Entries should be uploaded to Google’s image service, Picasa, and then an email sent to primperfect@gmail.com, informing us of where they are. Multiple entries are acceptable – up to ten from any one contestant. Editing in Photoshop is permitted – however, images that have clearly been heavily re-worked are less likely to be acceptable.
A Note on Picasa:
Picasa is part of the free software suite that is provided by Google, so you will need a Google account. Obtaining an account is free and relatively painless.
To access Picasa, go to your Google account home page. In the upper left corner of your browser window you’ll see a number of links to follow. If you do not already see ‘Photos’, then click ‘more’ to find the ‘Photos’ link. Click the link to go into Picasa. Follow the directions to upload images to your Picasa account.
Please place the images you wish to share with us in a folder called ‘Christmas Contest’.
After you have uploaded and saved to an album, your last step is to share the album with us. To do this, click on the album you’d like to share. In the next window you’ll see all the images in the album and a ‘Share Album’ link on the right over the images. Click on ‘Share Album’ and enter our email address: primperfect@gmail.com.
Feel free to add a message in the box provided – this is an excellent place to give us more information about the images! When you are finished, click on ‘Send Invitation’ at the bottom left of your window, and that is it.
