December Treasure Hunt – Clue 2: Urban Mode

After eating far too much over the holidays, it’s time to get up and go hunting for the Treasure Hunt items in the December issue of Prim Perfect magazine.  We’re going to jog around the grid, searching for ELEVEN items contributed by some talented designers and store owners.  I’ll tell you a bit about the featured item, but you have to find it  and write down its prim count.   Instructions on how to find the prim count of an item can be found on page 46 of the magazine or on our Treasure Hunt Information Page.  The one who submits the most correct prim counts will receive this month’s Star Prize – a manor house in Kettle Moraine furnished by Keith Extraordinaire and featured on page 36 of the magazine!

Before I give you the next clue, let’s take a jog around the streets of the planned mainland sim Bay City – Falconmoon.   Follow me down this street, and then take a right, sprinting to Y-intersection.  Here we’ll stop and stretch on the benches near Sir Mole’s statue.  Doesn’t he look distinguished?  Conveniently, we’re  also at the next store in the Treasure Hunt – Urban Mode.   Inside the store we should look for the Divan Banquette – Deco, created by co-owner Dellybean North.  It’s an oval seating area with six cushions.  The cushions are available in the Deco red and black pattern or a  red and gold Gold Leaves design.  The pedestal in the center of the banquette is a wonderful place to display a striking sculpture or fill with plants.   If the colors don’t match your decor, this seating area can also be re-textured.

If you’re looking to outfit an office, the banquette coordinates perfectly with the Moderna Oxford Business & Executive sets also available in the store.   The photo shows the contents of the Executive set.  The Business set adds a conference table, six chairs, and another carpet.  The chairs are menu driven with male, female, and unisex poses.  Glass and chrome give the set a modern style while the red and black design give it a great sense of energy.   Jeremey Ryan designed the Urban Mode store with a lot of open floorspace, so before you go, take one more lap around the banquette and don’t forget to write down its prim count.

To participate in the treasure hunt challenge, we ask you to find as many prim counts as you can for each of the magazine’s treasure hunt items.  Email the counts to primperfect@gmail.com along with your avatar name and the completion of the tiebreaker sentence “Prim Perfect is…” in fifteen words or less.  The winner will be the person who is closest to an accurate prim count, and in the event of a tie, the tiebreaker question will be used. Your answers are due by January 20, 2009. Please remember – you don’t necessarily have to find every prim count to win a prize!  Runner-up prizes will also be awarded!
