December Treasure Hunt – Clue 4: Eynhallow

After eating far too much over the holidays, it’s time to get up and go hunting for the Treasure Hunt items in the December issue of Prim Perfect magazine.  We’re going to jog around the grid, searching for ELEVEN items contributed by some talented designers and store owners.  I’ll tell you a bit about the featured item, but you have to find it  and write down its prim count.   Instructions on how to find the prim count of an item can be found on page 46 of the magazine or on our Treasure Hunt Information Page.  The one who submits the most correct prim counts will receive this month’s Star Prize – a manor house in Kettle Moraine furnished by Keith Extraordinaire and featured on page 36 of the magazine!

Get ready to do some jumping with me!  According to Wikipedia, Eynhallow is a small unhabited island, part of the Orkney Islands off of the north coast of Scotland.  The Eynhallow of the grid was part of the estate Orcadia, but it appears to have been reorganized as so many Open Space sims have been forced to do.  Kaye Robbiani, owner of House of Alexander fine furnishing and home decor, has relocated her Home Store to the sim of Giverny.  We need to jump over there to discover the country furnishings inside, but jump carefully please.  There is some snow on the ground in the village square, and I don’t want anyone to slip and fall.

Inside the store, my eyes are immediately drawn to all the quilts on display.  Some are draped over tables.  Others are piled within 1-prim cabinets.  They are assembled into packages to take home with you.  You also can find them draped over the featured item – a quilt rack with three quilts.  The rack has a handcrafted look, and its wood has been stained a warm brown.  To keep our heart rate up while Treasure Hunting, let me suggest some toe touches.  Brush your fingers along the rough stone floor as you check for the prim count of the quilt rack.  Keep yourself flexible because we’ll be dashing off again soon!

To participate in the treasure hunt challenge, we ask you to find as many prim counts as you can for each of the magazine’s treasure hunt items.  Email the counts to primperfect@gmail.com along with your avatar name and the completion of the tiebreaker sentence “Prim Perfect is…” in fifteen words or less.  The winner will be the person who is closest to an accurate prim count, and in the event of a tie, the tiebreaker question will be used. Your answers are due by January 20, 2009. Please remember – you don’t necessarily have to find every prim count to win a prize!  Runner-up prizes will also be awarded!
