December Treasure Hunt – Clue 11: Barefoot Homes and Designs

After eating far too much over the holidays, it’s time to get up and go hunting for the Treasure Hunt items in the December issue of Prim Perfect magazine.  We’re going to jog around the grid, searching for ELEVEN items contributed by some talented designers and store owners.  I’ll tell you a bit about the featured item, but you have to find it  and write down its prim count.   Instructions on how to find the prim count of an item can be found on page 46 of the magazine or on our Treasure Hunt Information Page.  The one who submits the most correct prim counts will receive this month’s Star Prize – a manor house in Kettle Moraine furnished by Keith Extraordinaire and featured on page 36 of the magazine!

For our last clue, we travel to Barefoot Homes and Designs.  That is where we will find this AirMaster North Wind ceiling fan.  We need to write down the prim count for the 1.5 meter hanging fan.  The sleek contemporary style is offered in six variations – two colors of motor housing and three fan blade materials.   Both the light and fan are controlled with a touch.   Once you get the prim count for this design, follow me to one more place.

Changes are happening at the nearby Barefoot Apparel.  Jeremey Ryan will be closing the Snafu location of the store on January 25.   The new branch of Barefoot Apparel is already open on the sim of Zeord, next to True North Beach and Patio.  The men’s clothing and accessories are displayed in huts on the beach, shaded by palm trees and mere steps from open water.  This location truly reflects Jeremey’s ‘Barefoot’ philosophy for the sand is soft and warm, luring you to discard your shoes and relax.  I’m going to take Jeremey’s invitation and enjoy the sun, surf, and sand.  Feel free to join me once you’ve sent in your contest entry!

To participate in the treasure hunt challenge, we ask you to find as many prim counts as you can for each of the magazine’s treasure hunt items.  Email the counts to primperfect@gmail.com along with your avatar name and the completion of the tiebreaker sentence “Prim Perfect is…” in fifteen words or less.  The winner will be the person who is closest to an accurate prim count, and in the event of a tie, the tiebreaker question will be used. Your answers are due by January 20, 2009. Please remember – you don’t necessarily have to find every prim count to win a prize!  Runner-up prizes will also be awarded!
