From the last clue to this one, we literally travel only a few steps. The two stores in Dans les Montagnes are adjoining, and their owners are partners. NyKus’ Keep is owned by NyKus Dagger. The furniture in this store has a medieval feel as in The Fading Lands, but the pieces have a more masculine feel. The lines are sharper. Red, gold, and black are the dominant colors. The substantial pieces are heavily carved, and NyKus Dagger accents them with crisp metallic trim. The picture shows pieces from the Trimmed Elegance collection including a buffet, a dining table, benches, hutch, and fireplace.
For the Treasure Hunt, we need to find this Elegant Podium. It is highly polished and intricately carved. The legs have a beautifully elegant curve to them. A feather quill waits to inscribe your important business. A book lies open on the podium to an interesting passage. Do you recognize it? I admit I used Google to figure it out.
