Come and join me at Kotan, within the Hasu Gardens at the Blue Lotus Okiya. It is here where Satu Moreau offers a wonderful selection of sushi. Menus atop the counter provide notecards with descriptions of each dish. Behind the counter is a vendor panel, showing how beautiful and colorful each dish is. For the Treasure Hunt, you need to locate the Rainbow Bridge. Five different colored roe are arranged in dishes on an arched wooden bridge, looking like the rainbow in its name. Should you choose to sample some of the sushi, scripted chopsticks are available in cups on the counter for you to take.
If you wander out the back door of Kotan and through the bamboo forest, you may spy the path leading up into the mountains. There is still snow at the top of the mountain, but the trees are in bloom, promising that spring is coming. Find a cushion and turn on the music for a peaceful moment of meditation or click on the pose balls to go through a Tai Chi form.
