For the spring 2009 Treasure Hunt, we will be exploring several places with gardens, flowers, or wonderful outdoor areas. Antique Artistry on Fatimas Art is a perfect place to start. The grounds are green and blooming with delicate pastel flowers, a welcome change from cold, gray landscapes. Owner Fatima Ur has several sims dedicated to gardens full of trees and flowers, garden furniture and gazebos, fountains and sculptures, and Victorian style homes. I spent a wonderful afternoon wandering the different walking paths around her sims, enjoying the sun, and smelling the flowers.
You’ll have to do some exploring as well to find the featured item – a copyable Male Duck. Silent and smooth, he glides in slow circles on the waterways of Fatimas Art. If your eyes are good, you may be able to spy him from a bridge. On the other hand, you may find yourself wandering off the pathways and down grassy banks to take a closer look. When you find him, take a look at his prim count and write it down!
Although exploring Antique Artistry is a lovely way to spend a day, we have many more places to visit before the contest ends on April 15, 2009, and someone is awarded the Prim Perfect Star Prize!
