This treasure hunt destination is something a little different. Rather than featuring an item in a store, we get to visit an entire sim. Winterfell Anodyne is one of the Winterfell sims created by Miss Serra Anansi. Winterfell is a dream realm, falling somewhere between Medieval and Victorian in style, yet neither airships nor vampires would be out of place. That is how Miss Serra describes it, and after visiting Winterfell Anodyne, I definitely agree. There are some stately Victorian style buildings on the sim, but if you cross the stone and moss bridges that span the canal, you’ll find yourself in a fantasy marketplace. Ancient trees cast shadows over merchants’ stalls made of wood and brick, with curtains and accents in vivid jewel tones. A gathering place with benches and a well can be found at the center of these stalls. The area was empty when I visited, and while I was fascinated with the beauty of the place, I was also a bit apprehensive, wondering who or what might gather here.
Perhaps you will find the answer to that question as you explore, looking for the featured item. Somewhere within Winterfell Anodyne, Miss Serra has placed this Anansi Rose – Tulip Landscape Lantern. It is a small item, and it may take sharp eyes to notice it amid the grand scale of the area. The lantern was white when I found it, but with a touch, it glowed with an amber light and the tulip pattern could be seen. Wander the stone and moss pathways of Winterfell Anodyne and see if you can find the prim count of this lovely little lantern.
