The next stop on the treasure hunt is at KitStar Designs in Vorlheim. Somewhere in the store you need to find this Japanese Paper Lantern ~ triple. It’s a cascade of three red paper lanterns decorated with gold dragons. A trim of red fringe hangs from the bottom of each globe. Make sure you do as the sign recommends and set your environmental settings to midnight. Then touch the lantern to turn it on. It gives off an amazing amount of light – definitely enough to read its prim count by.
As I explored the store, I was fascinated by these Chiming Pendulum Clocks. Designer Kittie Munro designed the clock with two different faces. The first one is an ivory face with interesting detailing like gears and the two fobs for winding it. The other face is black marble with gold flecks. Both clocks have brushed brass hardware and spinning pendulums. The hour hand is set to your local time by clicking on it. Each click advances the time by one hour. It’s a unique conversation piece to add interest to your home.
