This clue begins with an apology from the Spring treasure hunt. I had completed a clue for Urban Mode, but I forgot to click the ‘Publish’ button. I’m sorry you didn’t get that clue, and I’m also sorry you had to wait to hear about a treasure from one of the owners of Urban Mode. Dellybean North created the nearby Tappers Jazz Lounge. It’s a great room with chairs and couches for relaxing. A few booths line the wall for quiet conversation. A bar, piano, and dance floor complete the room. Classic jazz plays on the audio feed. It’s a lovely place to hang out with friends. Much of the furniture in the lounge is available for purchase in Urban Mode, and those bar stools might look familiar as well!
Returning to Urban Mode, we need to search for the treasure hunt item. It is a Black Desk Light, great for a desk lamp or perhaps a bedside light in either modern or art deco furnishings. Touch anywhere on the lamp to turn on the tube within the shiny black shade. It provides plenty of light for when you find yourself burning the midnight oil on a project. As you browse the shop, keep your eyes open and you may find clues to a few other items in the treasure hunt!
