We are headed to a place featured on the last episode of Meta Makeover in April – Giverny. Co-owner Kaye Robbiani gave Saffia and the audience a tour of their sim based on Monet’s home village. In the lands outside the village, you can discover the Hotel Baudy, Chez Monet, the gardens and lilly pond made famous by Monet’s paintings, and an exhibit of works by American artists who were inspired by Monet. Inside the village are several quaint stores including a toy store, a fabric store, and a boulangerie.
We need to stop at The Home Store. Inside are furniture and furnishings to make your home rustic and cozy. The rugs look hand woven or braided. Quilts in traditional patterns are displayed all over the store. Primitive artworks hang on the wall and the mixing bowls look as if they came out of a grandmother’s kitchen. Waiting for you in the store is this Rag Doll. With her button eyes and homespun clothing, she looks as if she’s waiting for someone to pick her up and hold her tightly. Spend a moment with her, and she’ll share her prim count with you.
