Wednesday is St Patrick’s Day so we thought we’d spend our show the day before exploring the gorgeous West of Ireland Estate – so come and join us in our Northpoint studio at 2pmSLT for a special Irish-flavoured show!
It’s a major cultural centre, with music and story-telling high on the agenda at most times of the year, but that’s particularly true at the moment as they’re in the middle of a festival around St Patrick’s Day itself, culminating on the 21st March with a re-opening of the Library and Cultural Centre.
In the show, we’ll be looking at several parts of the estate, including one of the main pubs (of course), the beautiful wild landscapes of Cork and the Library itself. We’ll be talking to CEO Sioban McMahon and one of the main members of the Library team, Caledonia Skytower. We’ll let you know about the St Patrick’s Day events, too.
West of Ireland is also the Sim of the Month in the latest edition of Prim Perfect magazine, and we’re very pleased to illustrate this item with some pictures by PJ Trenton taken for the magazine.
The show starts at 2pm SLT, but you should be in our Northpoint studios by 1.30pm to make sure of getting a seat.
