Designing Worlds invites you to join us in our Northpoint studio at 2pm SLT as we explore the world of StoryQuest with Marty Snowpaw and Jenaia Morane, and learn the moving story of Uncle D.
This is a exploration of a life affected by HIV/AID which uses a non-linear narrative to encourage us not just to explore and investigate the story but also to reflect on Uncle D and the disease itself. We move through a place of beauty and become one with the story that is telling itself to us, and inviting us to share and respond.
We will be travelling through the Quest ourselves with Marty and Jenaia, but not exposing all its secrets – those you will have to come and explore for yourselves. And we will be talking to them about other projects, such as the poetry quest and their new venture – www.startledcat.com.
The show starts at 2pm SLT, but you should be in our Northpoint studios by 1.30pm to make sure of getting a seat. And there will be a wonderful gift of a special Story Quest back pack to collect for viewers of the show too!
And make sure that you don’t miss the StoryQuest Display on the beach outside our studio either – or the displays from Heritage Key and Garden of Dreams still on display in our Exhibition Hall!
