Art History Talks Today

Today will see not one but two art historical talks given by by Prim Perfect/Primgraph Staff.

At 12 SLT, yours truly will give a talk titled “The Wright Connections: Charles Rennie Mackintosh and the Glasgow Style” at the Frank Lloyd Wright Virtual Museum.  I’ll be giving an introduction to the Scottish architect and designer Mackintosh, who has been called the European equivalent of Wright, then lead a discussion exploring the similarities and differences between these contemporaries, both “Pioneers of Modernism.”

Then, at 2 SLT, our brilliant photographer PJ Trenton will be featured at the Aether Salon in Babbage, presenting on “The Art of Photography”.  Mr Trenton will explore the fascinating technical and artistic history of photography in the 19th century.
