I’m not going to say too much about Cap Estel except that you MUST go. Particularly if you are looking for a place to enjoy the winter season AWAY from all the holiday hustle and bustle. The talented creator of this natural park, Maurice Messmer, changes it seasonally, and I just waxed ecstatic about the autumn season on my own blog. But his winter landscape is just as sublime, filled with incredibly beautiful flora and fauna fitting the season.
I also think that Cap Estel is one of the most romantic places in all of SL, and in addition to the quiet nature trails and places to sit cozily with a special someone, the Winter has brought a sleigh ride, and couples ice skating on the frozen lake.
Cap Estel is a stunning place to spend and afternoon on your own, or with your sweetie. It is truly not to be missed.
