Welcome to the March issue of Prim Perfect. And, as in previous years, we have something of an Irish flavour to this month’s magazine!

Once again, this month, we have free Prim Perfect gifts for you. As it’s St Patrick’s Day very soon, we have hidden some special celebration gifts in our pages for you to find—look for the pages with the special lucky shamrocks! Of course, gifts are only available in Second Life through our inworld Intellibook version, but if you are reading this on the web, look at Page to discover how you can get your inworld copy too.
In keeping with our theme, our Region of the Month is the beautiful lands of Greater Ireland, consisting of Greater Ireland itself, and then Greater Ireland Tipperary, Greater Ireland Clare, and—the newest addition—Greater Ireland Galway. Aisling Sinclair has been exploring the region and meeting some of the locals, while I interviewed the two owners, Derric Foggarty and Jules Artful. And because we’re sure that after reading that and seeing the wonderful images our photographers have captured, you’ll be wanting to head there too, we sent Java Jetcity ahead to find ten Places to Visit in Greater Ireland.
With such a theme this month, we had to have an Irish cottage to furnish, and Greater Ireland supplied a great one which we invited our Designer of the Month, Pandora Popstar, to furnish for us. We loved what she did with a simple, small one-room cottage. Dividing it into three rooms, she managed to make it look more spacious and create a warm, rich home environment. Tricia Aferdita explores the home and meets Pandora for an interview inside.
Ceejay Writer has advice on how to create your own Irish Garden. And in case you want to learn more about all things Irish, we have a list of some of the events planned for St Patrick’s around the Second Life grid.
This month’s Designer Linden Home was furnished by Froukje Hoorenbeek of Dutchie, and Jedburgh30 Dagger met her and explored her Meadowbrook home.
Our Pathfinder Mentor this month is the amazing Gospel Voom, and he has been advising our Pathfinders on marketing your brand. Qwis Greenwood talked to him about his wide range of beautifully finished products. And Qwis Greenwood also launches the search for next year’s Pathfinders… which is going to be excitingly different, with grants to the Pathfinders to help them develop their products and open their first stores!
We feature the first of our special columns written by pitsch Parx – pitsch’s place. And he raises a provocative issue – the prevalence of shabby chic in Second Life!

And Annechen Lowey has some very helpful suggestions on steps you can take if you are confronted with the dire problem of inventory loss!
Iggy O, our gridnaut, has been exploring the world of Openlife; while in Charity News, Beq Janus celebrates the launch of Relay for Life in Second Life for 2011.
Then there’s all the latest from the Designing Worlds and Metaverse Arts shows on treet.tv, and news of the most recent bargains from Spruce Up Your Space, while our team of talented photographers, led by PJ Trenton, Twisted Lemon, Tricia Aferdita, Wildstar Beaumont, and Raven Haalan bring you some of the most artistic eye candy from across the metaverse!
All this with News from the Grid and more!

So how can I get Prim Perfect?

If you prefer to read the magazine online but not inworld, there are choices. Firstly, there’s the wonderful Calaméo system, which allows you to moves smoothly through the pages, giving you the feeling of reading a real magazine. You’ll find Issue 32 here – and please do leave a comment!
But, if you like to download your magazines to read as you commute to work, or in the bath, or wherever, you can also obtain a standard pdf for downloading and printing.
It is available through SL Marketplace (just search on the site for Prim Perfect). This will deliver you a copy in the form of an Intellibook that you can rez and read inworld.

We also have subscribe-o-matic kiosks throughout Second Life (these are taking over from our older vendors) – so you can just click to subscribe. You’ll be sent a copy of the latest issue, and then you’ll receive your issues regularly!
Another inworld option is to buy from our inworld vendors (located at various stores). Sometimes we have had problems with these, but you can help! If you see a vendor still selling an earlier issue, contact primperfect@gmail.com, and we’ll send someone to update it.
Or you can have it delivered to you each month as an IntelliBook, by joining the Prim Perfect Readers group inworld. It costs nothing to join and, apart from delivering the magazine each month, we won’t overload you with chat or messages!
In addition to delivering the Intellibook version of the magazine, you’ll also get a link to the online Calaméo version of the magazine, so you’ll be able to access that too.
