We’ve received this press release from the ongoing art challenges at the University of Western Australia:
In a never before seen outcome over 17 months of art challenges at UWA, non-scripted works have jointly taken the 1st Overall Prize (@L$8,750) at the March Round of the UWA 3D Open Art Challenge with Ginger Alsop and Gleman Jun coming out of their comfort zones to deliver their captivating works, ‘Shattered’ and ‘The Fragility of the Soul is Not a Defect’.
Silene Christen’s ‘Spanish Bull’ and Josiane Sorciere’s ‘Three Little Turns…’ were joint 3rd, with ‘Spanish Bull’ also taking the Odyssey Prize and her 2nd artwork, ‘Tribute to Goya’ being Joint winner for the Non-Scripted Prize. Josiane was a double winner too, also winning the Tornado Gallery Prize. In a tour-de-force for the non-scripted work, Haveit Neox was the joint winner for the Non-Scripted category with Marinoette. Ginger also took the UTSA Prize.
