This year will see the Fourth Annual Homes and Gardens Expo, the biggest Home and Garden Event of Second Life. This year the Expo will be occupying an impressive ten sims—and Prim Perfect is delighted to be one of the sponsors!
Once again, the aim of the Expo is to raise money for Relay for Life of Second Life—but it’s also a great place to see the work of all your favorite designers… and maybe discover a few new ones!
The Expo will open on Friday, May 13 at noon, and remain open 24 hours each day until it closes on May 22 at 10pm SLT. This year’s extravaganza will span TEN Second Life sims, with over 100 exhibits, more entertainment and more ways to benefit Relay for Life, too! The Expo will cover all areas of home and land decor in Second Life. It gathers together many of Second Life’s greatest architects, furniture makers, gardeners, and landscapers, some well-known and some not so well-known, in a grand display for Second Life shoppers and visitors.
Prim Perfect will be there, of course, and we are already planning some fascinating interactive events—and there will be a Designing Worlds show from the Expo.
And look out for some very special news about a launch at the Expo which you can read about in the new edition of Prim Perfect (which will appear in the next couple of days).
There will be ten days of musical entertainment, including both DJs and live musicians at the Stage area of the Expo. Builder’s Brewery will host this year’s Expo Classroom with lots of fun classes and a competition or two.
Each exhibitor will be selling two items which make their debut at the Expo and those sales will go to benefit Relay for Life, along with all proceeds from this year’s always popular Scavenger Hunt, Auction and Raffle.
