The Fourth Home and Garden Expo opened today at 12 noon, Friday 13th May.

The Expo has ten regions of wonderful designs for homes, gardens and furniture by the very best of Second Life designers.  And in addition to the wonderful places to explore, there’s a programme of entertainment and education, with classes from Builder’s Brewery and, of course, Prim Perfect’s special Meet the Designer sessions.  Our first session is at 6pm tonight, and the Designer will be Maxwell Graf of Rustica, who will be talking about his work and his plans.

And there’s also going to be an exciting launch from KittyCatS!  They are partnering with Relay for Life in Second Life to create a Special Limited Edition RFL “KittyCatS!” The KittyCatS! team, Callie Cline, Dennis Lagan and Equinox Pinion wil;l be unveiling the Limited Edition RFL KittyCatS! cat  on May 14 at the Expo.

This is the first time that RFLinSL has partnered with an organisation independently of teams (other than Linden Lab and its bear). “We’re really honoured to have been asked to partner with RFL and to be a sponsor at the Expo,” says Callie. “We think it’s also very exciting for the pet and breedables community as whole as well.”

In addition,. there will be ten days of musical entertainment, including both DJs and live musicians at the Stage area of the Expo. Builder’s Brewery will host this year’s Expo Classroom with lots of fun classes and a competition or two.

Each exhibitor will be selling two items which make their debut at the Expo and those sales will go to benefit Relay for Life, along with all proceeds from this year’s always popular Scavenger Hunt, Auction and Raffle.
