Today for our programme of Meet the Designers at the Prim Perfect Pavilion on Home Expo 2, we will be celebrating the last day of the event with THREE sessions.
First, at 2pmSLT, we have a discussion session about the Prim Perfect Pathfinder and Trailblazer programmes. These are two business support programmes run by the magazine – Pathfinders for new businesses and Trailblazers for established businesses seeking an opportunity to grow to the next level. You will have the chance to meet some – at least – of the Pathfinders and Trailblazers and to ask questions of Qwis Greenwood (the mentor for the programme) and Saffia Widdershins. Secondly, at 4pm SLT we will be Meeting the Designer Robert Galland of the long established Second Life business, Galland Homes. He will be talking to Saffia Widdershins about his homes, about his journey in Second Life – and about his plans for the future.
And for our final talk at 6pm SLT (and what we hope will be a very exciting one) Saffia and Cain Maven of Maven Homes will be talking about Linden Homes. Linden Homes have given a tremendous boost to furniture builders in Second Life (and Saffi is continuing her campaign to make sure that residents realise that installing a potted plant, a sofa, a sex bed and a cuddle rug is NOT furnishing your Linden Home!). Now can they also give a boost to the home builders of Second Life? We’ll be discussing ways in which Linden Lab and house builders could work together to develop the programme is exciting ways!
