Strains of Gershwin reach our ears as Spring turns to summer.
RFL Give is the first of the Summer sims, no dramatic change as we saw for Winter to spring but Straight into the builds with Sail for Life and Grace Loudon setting the standard with two great displays. The enchanting fairy tale castle dedicated like so many of our amazing builds dedicated to the memory of a friend or loved one.
As we leave RFL Healing we are over looked by the impressive B5 IV in SL teams campsite.
Then keeping the Sci-Fi theme we cross sims in RFL Hero and the United Federation Starfleet camp.
In RFL Hope, we find Team Caledon and their fun, beach-side circus.
Don’t miss the display of vintage vehicles arrayed along the highway.
We turn the corner in RFL Imagine, flanked by the positive vibes of Survival Garden by Tari Landar.
Standing opposite “Goodbye gray skies, hello blue”, the familiar sight of Arnold’s Diner recreated from the TV show Happy Days by the “Friends in memory of KevinBear Watanabe”
Suddenly the lighting changes as we shrink to tiny size and Bryn Oh’s impressive giant bullrushes loom overhead.
Through the waters of the marsh and another sim crossing, bees the size of dogs tend the plants as we cautiously pass them by. As we crossed the water we passed from RFL Knowledge into RFL Life.
We run through RFL Manage and the Ministry of Dance’s beach cove before being drawn like a moth to a flame by the incredibly detailed fairground built by Cameron Trenchcoat.
Strange as it may seem, within all these amazing builds I think this perfectly formed fairground seen here as I saw it in the bright moonlit night, stands out as a lasting memory of summer.
From RFL Overcome to RFL Persevere we find Bijoux LeFavre has created a beautiful restful garden space,
with deep wooded areas and a formal setting upon the brow of a hill.

But we cannot dally long, Summer is coming to anend and the rich earthy colours of Autumn loom ahead.
As we leave summer behind us the mighty tree of life, built by the equally mighty Goreans for RFL team see us on our way a dove of hope flapping its wings above.
We transition into the rich Ocres of Autumn and save ourselves for another installment.
