As you are hopefully well aware already , the fourth annual Fantasy Faire opened its gates today at midday SLT.
Those gates will remain open now until Sunday April 29, 2012. That’s ages right? Over a week, you are thinking…
Let’s look at it carefully, that is nine days, there are nine sims, that is (*counts on fingers*) one sim per day! then there are over a 130 extraordinarily gifted designers and merchants (*reaches for abacus*). … OK, so that’s at least fourteen, nearly fifteen, per sim and they all have perhaps three vendors or more, each one containing a special item, ready for you for the right donation. That is ignoring the fact that those same merchants have teasingly decked the walls of their beautiful stores with the most glamourous and gorgeous, the most desirable and delicious of wares to be found on anywhere on the grid.
So where were we? Fourteen times three (* click, clack *) that’s 42 vendors to check out, along with the stores. But wait let’s not forget that just excploring the awe inspiring designer sims is going to take time and I’ll let you in to a little secret here, for those who do take the time to explore, there are some wonderful hidden gems to be discovered.

Exploring the sims, checking the vendors, retail therapy, the special auctions, the jail and bail, the continuous streaming entertainment. oh and the hunt too. What did you not hear about the hunt?

so head on over to Fairelands Junction where all the fun begins.
Fairelands Junction is the hub sim for the event and is located adjacent to the main American Cancer Society sim. At the junction you will find a beautiful roundhouse in with eight special alcoves representing the individual faire sims arragned around a fountain.
Here you can also find the special low lag skin and mesh hair set available absolutely free and donated by Wasabi Pills and Fallen Gods. Male and female options are provided.
Fairelands Junction is also the entertainments sim and a busy schedule of events is planned with continuous Faire Radio being played across the sims by DJs on the stage, and featuring many of the best live acts in Second Life.
The stage will also be where you wil find the legendary Fantasy Faire auctions and other special events, such as the ever popular Jail and Bail.
