Designing Worlds is back! And for our first episode of the season, we are visiting what is probably the oldest Machinima group and event in Second Life – Machinima Mondays!

Machinima Monday is a group that hosts regular meetings (every Monday, as you might guess from the name!) at 1pm on Samandiriel (http://maps.secondlife.com/secondlife/Samandiriel/201/228/1801). Here, members’ films are shown and critiqued, competitions are organised, advice and hints are given, training and interviews are profiled, and new developments – such as intergrating AI – are eagerly discussed and demonstrated.
With the help of long term members Chantal Harvey, Dorian Cao and Fakey Jewell, we will look at the history of Machinima Monday, showing a variety of films created within Second Life. Then we will have a view of a regular meeting, where films are critiqued.
