Since writing my stories about two shopping villages in the Middle European style being forced to close (see Sad News about Stores Part 1 and Part 2), I have received some rather better news …
MrPirate411 Peterman, a regular blog reader, wrote to me:
So sad to hear about the closing of Salzburg. But like many things in SL, one leaves, another seems to appear to take its place. We have just opened a new mall, Peacock Square, with that same European village feel. We have been open for one week and have already rented all of the stores. You are right, there seems to be a need for this type of look and feel. Feel free to stop by and have a look.
I’ve taken the very swiftest of looks and they seem to have worked well with the medieval theme. They’ve also made some lovely use of plants and flowers. I’ll be taking a more thorough look at the beginning of next week – and I’ll share the results of my investigations with you then!
