That’s right – the SL London news blog, Virtually London (Lite), is offering L$4000 for the best festively decorated house, apartment or houseboat in any of the SL London sims.
SL London is really getting in the festive spirit, with the wonderful tree donated by SL Norway and a sweet little Christmas market. Now the residents can join in the fun with this competition.
Janey Bracken, editor of the news blog says:
Virtually London (Lite) is holding a competition for the Capital’s residents. We are looking for the best festively decorated house or apartment (houseboats included too!!). The person with the best Christmas display (inside or outside of their home, or both!!) will win an amazing L$4000. What a start to the New Year that will be for the lucky winner! The contest will be running until the end of December, so you have plenty of time to put those Christmas lights and baubles in place (or any other festive decorations that you fancy!)
You don’t even have to send in any photos. All you have to do is contact Janey Bracken or Hibiscus Hastings, either in an IM message or on a notecard, giving your name and the location of your decorated SL London home, and Janey or Hibiscus will call round and photograph your display for you.
There is no restriction on how long you have lived in SL London; you may just have moved in, but you will still have a chance to win the fantastic L$4000 prize. The competition is open from today until December 31st 2008. Independent Judges will be announced shortly.
