Valentine Treasure Hunt – Clue 1: Cache

To start the treasure hunt, we’re going to pay the first of several visits to the little village of Petite Chou, nestled in the mountains of Dans les Montagnes.   Join me in exploring a store named Cache, or as its sign reads, “Cache deux”.    Designer Tallulah Bourjade has created a welcoming store with walls in warm greens and yellows,  an aged wooden floor, and quite sensual furnishings.

Dark woods and lush textures catch the eye as we glance around the shop.  Take a look around and see if you can find this Moulin Rouge Couch.  It was designed “for Vamps and Tramps”, and you can decide which you prefer by changing the texture.   Spilled Wine and Faded Violet are dark enough to absorb light.  Gilded Lilly and Better Days make the couch appear that it has seen a lot of years or perhaps a lot of use.  Run your hand lazily over the curves of the couch as you look up its prim count.

The upper floor of the store features furnishings inspired by the adventure and romance of swashbucklers.   Lounge on the chaise, study charts at the desk, file away your log books in the bookcase, or stash your treasure in a chest.  For the family left behind, Tallulah created this Old World Baby Bed with curtains.  As with much of her furniture, the curtains can be changed to eight different colors.   A sweet animation tucks the little one

Quietly, quietly we tip-toe away from the sleeping baby and off to more treasure hunting.  There are still many more stores to visit before the contest ends on March 1, 2009, and someone is awarded the Prim Perfect Star Prize(Shhhh!  Remember the baby!)
