You may remember that a month or so ago we announced with sadness the resignation of our long-time Advertising and Client Relations Manager, Diva Regina, who had gone off to a real life job contract. Since then, we have been looking for some one to replace – and have been fortunate to find not one but two experienced and very capable people.
We have decided, therefore, to divide their responsibilities. Aisling Sinclair will be the Advertising and Client Relations Manager for Prim Perfect and Meta Makeover, while Elegia Underwood becomes the Advertising and Client Relations Manager for The Primgraph. Let’s meet them both …

Aisling Sinclair
In October 2006, Aisling Sinclair read a New York Times article about something called Second Life. That night, she named herself after a dream and stepped into enduring fascination.
Two and a half years later, she still revels in the freedom of choice that SL provides, and ponders the ability to feel so close to people she’s never met face to face. “I think I’ll never tire of exploring SL,” she says. “To see the best dreams and ideas of some of the most interesting minds in the world, all made real, all in the same place — how can any creative person resist that?”
Creative work and exploration have been the underlying themes of Aisling’s real life. The daughter of a military officer, she had traveled throughout two continents before her ninth birthday. When it came time to select a profession, she placed herself firmly at the nexus of technology and creative arts by choosing a career in film and video production, taking periodic sidetrips into print production and software design. “Looking back, my fascination with SL is a logical next step,” she notes. “I love the technological tools – in themselves, they’re seriously cool creative products – and what you can do with them is nearly endless.”
By joining Prim Perfect, Aisling is very pleased to be able to combine her love of creativity with her business sense as a producer. “Second Life’s creative community continues to amaze me,” she says. “I want to do all I can to help them grow their businesses – because I never want them to stop.”

Elegia Underwood
A long & interesting journey, full of twists & turns, winding over two continents, finally led Gia Underwood to the metaverse. Her background includes Texas, Calif & England, antique buttons & anthropology, a bookstore & a bulk freighter. Along the way, she acquired a wry sense of humour & a strong sense of the ironic. In RL, she has been employed or self employed in marketing & design positions since the early 80s.
When she first arrived in Second Life, in Aug 2007, she stumbled off the Help Island & straight onto the mainland. There, she says, she discovered ‘wonders & kack, prettiness & puzzlement, explosions of creativity & astonishing wastes of server space’. She found her first haven in a place called Red Rock Sanctuary, a re-creation of the southwestern North American desert with the feel of Canyon de Chelly. And then, she discovered Caledon & the Victorians & steampunks &, best of all… bustles.
She has traveled & explored & roleplayed her way across the metaverse, and continues to live in a steampunk community. With a strong sense of the Victorian aesthetic & a love of play, as a storyteller in SL & a singer in RL, she brings words & music & laughter & a gentle energy to her new position with Prim Perfect Publications. Gia is looking forward to meeting all of the people involved with the magazines & the TV show, staff, contributors & merchants as well as readers. “I just know this is going to be a fabulous & fun collaboration,” she says. “There is so much opportunity for media expansion in SL & I am over the mooon to be chosen to be a part of it.”
Welcome to the team! I look forward to meeting both of you in-world!
Hurrah! When I get back to SL, I hope to meet you both!
