The Fat Tuesday sim designed by Gospel Voom has appeared in the Prim Perfect blogs before, but this was my first visit to his creation as part of the Treasure Hunt. It is a gorgeous recreation of famous landmarks from the city of New Orleans. That previous blog entry featured the St. Louis Cathedral. This time we’re headed to another famous location – a coffee stand in the French Market – known in-world as New Orleans Cafe Du Gos. Have a seat at one of the outdoor tables to enjoy free beignets. There was a cup of coffee on the table where I sat, and a white swirl of cream lazily rotated around the cup as I watched. Inside the cafe are Gos’ famous coffee machines as well as his other cafe furnishings for purchase.
To meet the Treasure Hunt requirements, you need to search nearby for this Orleans Bench (4 Seater) and note down its prim count. This bench is a recreation of benches I saw in a few pictures of New Orleans. The curves of the seatback and the arches of the supports flow like waves. Sitting on the bench, I felt as if I was floating. It was quite nice to sit there, enjoy the view, and chat with people passing by on the street. Before you leave the sim, make sure to take a street car tour. It regularly passes by the Cafe du Gos.
