Explore the Ancient World of Heritage Key with Designing Worlds

Designing Worlds invites you to join us in our Northpoint studio at 2pm SLT as we meet Jon Himoff of Rezzable to discuss the new OpenSim project of Heritage Key that the developers that form the Rezzable team have been working on.

Heritage Key is perhaps the most polished and beautiful OpenSim development yet, and a still a work in progress. Already visitors can explore recreations of Ancient Egypt, Stonehenge, the Terracotta Warriors, and the Assyrian Lion Gate – and there’s a wealth of amazing detail, as this short promotional film, made by Rezzable, shows:

Equally fascinating is the way that Heritage Key integrates virtual worlds with a range of internet forms (including machinima, the web, blogs and social networking tools) to create a richly interactive and immersive experience.

And we’ll also be talking about a new innovation developed for Heritage Key that could prove a major change to the way that people are introduced to virtual world technology.

The show starts at 2pm SLT, but you should be in our Northpoint studios by 1.30pm to make sure of getting a seat. And there will be a fabulous gift of a wearable Tutankhamen golden mask for viewers of the show too!

And make sure that you don’t miss the Heritage Key display in our Exhibition Hall either!
