As reported last week, for the last week The Friends Fighting Cancer Rely for Life team are running their Ultimate Auction. The event will finish tomorrow (Sunday 26th June) with a party to celebrate the hardwork and contribution of all the team and their supporters.
For the auction, the team that brought you the highly succesful Fantasy Faire, has worked with some of the best designers on the grid to bring some increduble, rare and exciting prizes.
During the week, as the bids came in, The Friends Fighting Cancer passed an amazing 25,000 US dollars raised milestone.
Zander greene, the ever bouyant spokeperson for FFC had the following to say through a wide, happy grin.
As the FFC Ultimate Auction enters the final stretch, we are proud to
announce that our team total now stands at $25,000 US! This amount
would not have been possible without the support of artists, musicians,
writers, photographers and the many SL residents who appreciate all of
the above! It would not have been possible without the Spirit of Relay
that lives in each of you. There are 24 days left in the 2011 RFL
Season and we’re going to reach higher, and keep this Relay Rocking!
Here is a quick recap of the items up for auction:-
- The ultimate medieval package from Morphe Inc. which includes magnificent castles & other builds,
- A complete Garden of Dreams Dream Scene rezzer (with all 29 scenes) so you can explore some of SL’s best all from home
- two limited edition Light Wave sculptures (from the Rezzable Black Swan sim). The stunning, and highly desirable, “Ballerina” & beautiful “Eagle and Shark” (See below for a complete list of auction items & further details on each)
Morphe Inc. – Abel Dreamscape
Abel Dreamscape has rightly developed an outstanding reputation as one of the best creators of Gothic medieval architecture. His builds are amazingly realistic, painstakingly detailed & textured with an excellent use of sculpts. Thorean & Oferion are two of Morphe Inc.’s most impressive & popular castles and are combined with a Medieval Town Set & the Vicis Obscurium gothic clock tower as the ultimate medieval package.

* Garden of Dreams – Kayle Matzerath
Created by the masterful builder of the well known Garden of Dreams sims, the DreamScene complete edition with all 29 fantastic scenes (normally valued at $L40,000) is built with his eye to detail and beautiful texturing. The DreamScene is perfect for parties, special time with friends or a loved one or to provide excellent photo backgrounds.

At the moment this prize stands at the bargain prixce of just a tad over L$30000. Plenty of room to snap up a real bargain. The individual scenes sell for L$2000 on marketplace.
* Rezzables – Light Waves
The Ballerina^ Perfectly scaled version of one of the best known works by this extraordinary sculptor which was on display on the well known Rezzable sims. No longer sold in world and originally for sale for $25k – this is a great item for a discerning collector to bid on.
